How to choose a pulse bag filter

The pulse bag filter is a dry filter equipment. It is suitable for capturing fine, dry, non-fibrous dust. The filter bag is made of woven filter cloth or non-woven felt. The filter effect of fiber fabric is used to filter the dust-containing gas. When the dust-containing gas enters the bag filter, the particles are larger and more severe than the dust. The effect settles down and falls into the ash hopper. When the gas containing finer dust passes through the filter material, the dust is blocked, so that the gas is purified.

The selection elements of pulse bag filter are as follows:

    1. Disposal air volume (Q) Disposal air volume refers to the volume of gas that the dust removal equipment can purify per unit time. The unit is cubic meters per hour (m3/h) or standard cubic meters per hour (Nm3/h). It is one of the important elements in the planning of the bag filter.

    2. Operating temperature For the bag filter, its operating temperature depends on two factors, the temperature of the filter material, and the gas temperature must be above the dew point temperature. Now, due to the large selection of glass fiber filter materials, its operating temperature can reach 280℃. For gases above this temperature, cooling methods must be adopted, and for gases below the dew point temperature, heating methods must be adopted. For the bag filter, the relationship between the operating temperature and the dust removal power is not significant. This is different from the electric dust removal. For the electric dust collector, the temperature change will affect the specific resistance of the dust and affect the dust removal power.

 3. The concentration of imported dust is the concentration of imported dust, which is determined by the process of raising dust. When planning or selecting a bag filter, it is another important element second only to the amount of air to be disposed of. Expressed in g/m3 or g/Nm3.

    4. The outlet dust concentration The outlet dust concentration refers to the discharge concentration of the dust collector, indicating that the method is the same as the import dust concentration. The size of the outlet dust concentration should be subject to the local environmental protection request or the user's request. The discharge concentration of the bag filter Generally it can reach below 50g/Nm3.

    5. Pressure loss The pressure loss of bag filter refers to the pressure drop of the gas from the inlet to the outlet of the precipitator, or resistance.

    6. The operating pressure of the operating pressure bag filter is determined by the static pressure value of the equipment micro-fans before and after the filter and the location of the equipment, and is also the planned pressure resistance value of the bag filter.

    7. Filtration speed Filtration speed is an important element for planning and selecting pulse bag filter. It is defined as the speed at which the filtered gas passes through the filter material, or the ratio of the air volume of the filtered material to the area of the filter material. The unit is expressed in m/min.
